Exchange programs for social workers and youth leaders
The Council of International Fellowship (CIF) is an international organization that sets up exchange programs for workers in the Human Services field.
CIF programs exist at the moment in twelve different countries and up to now, more than 7000 professional workers from 120 different countries have participated.
All CIF exchange programs consist of a general introduction attended by all participants and of an individual apprenticeship in a specific field chosen by the participant. During the program the participants stay with host-families.
The program is organized entirely by volunteers. These volunteers are either former participants of a CIF-program, or people who enjoy working in an international environment.
CIF the Netherlands organizes each year an exchange-program for Human Services professionals and mediates in applications of Dutch welfare workers for the other CIF-programs.
